S.W.A.P. Project:
The project is called the South Shore-Waco Drive Area Project.
In 2016, the project known as the “South Shore/Waco Area Project”, or “SWAP” was complete November 1, 2016, with 6 months to connect. With this project we were able to give service to 247 homes and businesses on and along the following rights-of-way: Vewter Park Road (west of the S-curve), South Shore Drive, State Highway 13 (both between South Shore Drive and Ideal Beach Road and south of Vewter Park Road to County Road 1000 N), Ideal Beach Road, Truesdell Avenue, George Street and Elwood Street.
